Summary	Proponents claim that Robert F. Kennedy was killed by a second gunman, not Sirhan Sirhan, based on the location of wounds and witness accounts. They argue that Sirhan could not have fired the fatal shot from his position. The official investigation concluded Sirhan acted alone.
Origin	Shortly after the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy on June 5, 1968, at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles.
Claimed	The fatal shot was fired from behind Kennedy, but Sirhan was in front of him, suggesting another shooter. Witnesses reported seeing a man in plain clothes with a gun in the pantry. There were too many bullets fired than Sirhan's gun could hold. The Los Angeles Police Department destroyed evidence, such as door frame bullet holes.
Evidence / consensus	Official investigations, including a review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office and the FBI, found no credible evidence of a second gunman. The physical evidence and witness accounts are consistent with Sirhan acting alone.
