Summary	Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory claiming that NASA and the United Nations plan to use advanced holographic projections and other technologies to simulate a Second Coming of Christ and a fake alien invasion, thereby deceiving humanity into accepting a New World Order. The theory was popularized by Canadian journalist Serge Monast in the 1990s.
Origin	The theory was introduced by Serge Monast in his 1994 book 'Project Blue Beam (NASA)' and further developed in his 1995 work 'Les Protocoles de Toronto (6.6.6)'.
Claimed	NASA and the UN are conspiring to implement a New Age religion with the Antichrist at its head. The plan involves faking earthquakes and archaeological discoveries to undermine religious doctrines. Gigantic holographic projections of deities will be beamed worldwide, merging into one god (the Antichrist). Telepathic communication via ELF waves will make people believe their god is speaking to them. A fake alien invasion and simulated rapture will be staged to push humanity into hysteria. The ultimate goal is to establish a totalitarian world government, with resistors enslaved or executed.
Evidence / consensus	There is no evidence that NASA or the UN has any such plan. The theory is considered a fabrication by Serge Monast, who had no verifiable sources. Expert consensus dismisses it as baseless.
