Claimed	Lights have been seen for centuries, predating electric lights. Lights appear in various shapes, colors, and movements, sometimes resembling a Ferris wheel or UFO. The cause remains unexplained despite scientific investigations. The lights have been investigated by the US government multiple times.
Evidence / consensus	USGS investigations in 1913 and 1922 identified the lights as train headlights, car headlights, and brush fires. Later analyses support these explanations, and there is no credible evidence of paranormal or extraterrestrial origins.
