Claimed	A humanoid frog-like creature, 3-4 feet tall, was seen in Loveland, Ohio in 1955. In 1972, police officers Ray Shockey and Mark Matthews reported seeing a similar creature. The creature had leathery skin, a frog-like face, and stood on hind legs. Some versions include the creature holding a wand that emitted sparks. A 2016 sighting was reported by people playing Pokémon Go near the river.
Evidence / consensus	The sightings are explained as misidentifications of large iguanas, particularly one that was missing its tail. Officer Matthews confirmed he shot and killed an iguana, which was shown to Officer Shockey, who agreed it was the animal he saw.
