Origin	The lodge originated in 1877 as Propaganda Massonica, was reformed as Propaganda Due in 1966, and came to public attention in 1981 when a raid on Gelli's villa uncovered membership lists and documents. It was officially dissolved by Italian law in 1982.
Claimed	P2 was a secret Masonic lodge that included nearly 1,000 prominent Italians from politics, military, finance, and media.
